Women's Voting History in Fort Bend County

In partnership with the League of Women Voters, the Fort Bend Museum presents an evening of history, conversation, and community with a look at the history of women’s voting in Fort Bend County. In honor of Women’s History Month, don’t miss this opportunity to hear how women have shaped the political and civic landscapes of Fort Bend in addition to the chance to view original newspapers and documents related to the subject up close that provide a tangible connection to the past. Our History, Our Diversity
The Fort Bend History Museum offers a unique monthly speaker series titled “Our History, Our Diversity,” which began in March 2022. Held in our revitalized museum gallery and event space, these lectures are designed to elevate, celebrate, and illuminate the diverse stories and individuals of Fort Bend County.
